This past Wednesday, we hosted a meeting to discuss why exactly we continue to support President Barack Obama. Many are quick to criticize the president for his time in office, but they rarely want to talk about what the president has done and continues to do for the American people.
In Barack Obama's 17-minute video titled The Road We've Traveled, we are all reminded of the gains that have been made over the past 3+ years, from healthcare reform to the repeal of DADT to bringing our troops home, among his many other accomplishments.
Inspired by the Yale College Democrats's "Change Is..." and Obama for America's "I'm In" campaigns, we launched something of our own called Why I'm In. We asked members to write a brief statement on a whiteboard telling the world why they're in for this year's election. Check out the album over on our Facebook page.
